OUR STORY
Here’s a brief background as to why the owner of Sakatchi Health and Wellness Center, a Registered Nurse, decided to set up this type of business.
It was April 16, 2018 in Muscat, Oman, where she first discovered that there was a center that caters to babies and focuses on those with special needs. This center also provided prenatal to postnatal care to pregnant women.
Fortunately, she was given an opportunity to work with Nine Clinic from May 2019 to November 2021, where she was able to hone her skillset as maternity nurse. There she was was mentored by a UK-based breastfeeding consultant -- an experience that allowed her to expand her knowledge and subsequently earn a baby massage diploma.
This opportunity served as an inspiration and vision for her to someday be able to bring this type of service to her hometown in the Philippines. Thus was born Sakatchi Health and Wellness Center in Daet, Camarines Norte.
At the moment, we offer hydrotherapy and massage for babies aged 2 to 9 month's but eventually our business will grow and provide more services for the whole family.
OUR SERVICES
HYDROTHERAPY
The floating sensation is especially therapeutic for newborns, as the environment mimics floating in the womb. As infants have very limited mobility, the floating sensation is particularly freeing and enjoyable for them.
MASSAGE
Babies find a gentle massage very relaxing. Touch is one of the senses that is most developed at birth.
BIRTHINGBALL EXERCISE
A physically active woman will have a shorter duration of labour than a woman who isn’t so active. You can start any form of exercise program, even if you have never been a fitness fanatic.
HYDROTHERAPY
Water therapy is an excellent way to help your baby with many milestones they are reaching in their first years.
Hydrotherapy and massage for babies from 8 weeks – 9 months old . Hydrotherapy will take 20-25 minutes in a bathtub while wearing waterproof swim diaprer and floating device around their necks
.

- With swimming colic, gas and constipation may be improved and it also reduces teething pain.
- It is a proven cardiovascular exercise
- It strengthens the heart and lungs and increases blood flow to the heart. Swimming circulates blood and oxygen and helps muscles to work against the resistance.
- Swimming is also considered as an endurance exercise and helps to build muscles and joints. Which makes babies stronger and improves coordination and balance.
BABY MASSAGE
Let’s talk about the massage benefits for your little miracle.
we have registered massage therapists who specialize in infant and baby massages.
As your baby transitions from life in the womb to the outside world, positive touch through massage helps them to feel loved, respected and secure. Massage can also help with initial communication and understanding between child and parent as baby develops their first language: touch.

Bookings should be made in advance by phone, email, facebook page or at the time of a previous visit.
One visit is of benefit but the more you attend, the more your baby will be able to derive benefits as he/she builds on what has been learnt before, as memory develops with the ability to predict. Routine and continuity are always beneficial.
